We’re seeking a creative and spirit-led Live Sound Engineer to join our contemporary worship ministry team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the soundscape that brings our liturgies and celebrations to life — helping people encounter God through music.
Position Details Report to: Music Director Compensation: Part-time, paid per liturgy
Key Responsibilities
Manage live sound for two Sunday morning Masses featuring a praise and Worship band.
Arrive one hour before the first Mass for sound check.
Ensure high-quality sound for worship, announcements, and special moments during Mass.
Attend select weekday morning rehearsals.
Collaborate closely with the Music Director to align with parish and worship needs.
Be flexible and prepared for scheduled liturgies and celebrations.
Embrace and support the parish’s mission and vision with professionalism and faith.
Technical & Musical Skills
Experience with Yamaha TF5 digital mixing console required.
Skilled in live audio mixing and capable of post-performance adjustments from Live recordings.
A good musical ear and understanding of worship dynamics.
Instrumental skill or background in music a plus (not required).
Reliability, collaboration, and a heart for service are must-haves.
