Chaplaincy Fellow (FT), St. Thomas More Chapel, Yale University
At Saint Thomas More Catholic Chapel & Center, our mission is to form students to be lifelong disciples of Christ and his Church through prayer, study, and action. We are proud to serve as the home of Yale University’s vibrant Catholic community. The Saint Thomas More Chaplaincy Fellow is a dynamic, early-career opportunity for a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in a pastoral setting. The fellowship provides an opportunity to work closely with the Chaplaincy Team at Saint Thomas More to participate in the implementation of liturgical and programmatic initiatives. The Chaplaincy Fellow will work to support the work of the chaplaincy team, by participating in staff and committee meetings, working with student leaders, providing supporting services for STM programs, and leading special initiatives as assigned by the Chaplaincy Team.
The Chaplaincy Fellow is an integral and full member of the Chaplaincy Team, supporting existing graduate, undergraduate, multicultural, service, and social justice ministries, while contributing to developing new initiatives. The Fellow accompanies students in deepening their faith, expanding their involvement in ministry, and developing their capacity for service and leadership following their graduation from Yale through student outreach, communication, pastoral care, and evangelization.
The fellowship allows the Chaplaincy Fellow to form a strong ministerial identity rooted in a relationship with Christ, foster theological reflection grounded in Catholic tradition, and develop essential skills that can be foundational for future ministerial opportunities.
