Ethnic Community Support Coordinator (PT), Immaculate Conception Parish, Everett, MA.

Immaculate Conception Parish in Everett is currently looking for a part-time Ethnic Community Support Coordinator to join their team. This position supports the Pastor with coordination of activities and communication with the Hispanic Community at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Everett. This is a part-time position, 20-hours a week and you will need to work at the parish office in Everett.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and support the mission of the Catholic Church
• Coordinate Ethnic Community Leaders
• Coordinate Parish Events
• Coordinate Ethnic Community information in the Bulletin and on the website
• Coordinate Mass Intentions for Ethnic Community
• Assist the Director of Education with Ethnic Communities
• Update and maintain parish Census Database
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent required; Bachelors’ degree in
• related field preferred
• Understanding and support of the mission of the Church
• Good customer service skills
• Attentive to detail
• Knowledgeable of parish policies and guidelines in relationship to Archdiocesan policies
• and guidelines
• Demonstrated experience in Social Media computer technology and skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite software

PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE ELEMENTS:

• Ability to use a computer keyboard for up to 8 hours/day
• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours/day
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
